From student job fairs to small business workshops, a series of upcoming events across the Grand Strand are creating opportunities for employers, job seekers, and business owners to connect and grow. These events highlight a shared focus on workforce development, career readiness, and long-term business success.
Throughout April and May, local high schools including Socastee, North Myrtle Beach, and Loris will host job fairs designed to connect students with employers for summer and part-time opportunities. In addition, the Academy for Technology and Academics (AAST) will host both a student career fair and a hiring event, bringing together businesses and emerging talent in a structured, high-impact setting.
For business owners, Conway Downtown Alive is continuing its small business workshop series with sessions focused on succession planning and branding and marketing. These workshops are designed to help businesses strengthen operations, plan for the future, and build a more scalable foundation.
Together, these events reflect a coordinated effort to support workforce pipelines, strengthen local businesses, and create meaningful connections across the region.
