Guy Fieri to Celebrate Downtown Flavortown Myrtle Beach With Sept. 10 Ribbon Cutting

Posted On: August 20, 2026

Flavortown is making it official in Myrtle Beach.

Guy Fieri and FACE Amusement Group will celebrate the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for Guy Fieri’s Downtown Flavortown Myrtle Beach at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Myrtle Beach Mall.

The public is invited to attend the outdoor ceremony, which will feature Fieri, FACE Amusement Group executives, community leaders and special guests.

Downtown Flavortown opened earlier this summer, bringing a new 50,000-square-foot entertainment experience to the Grand Strand. Developed by FACE Amusement Group in partnership with Fieri, the venue combines dining, bowling, arcade games and group entertainment under one roof.

The Myrtle Beach location features a full-service Guy Fieri restaurant with seating for about 460 guests, more than 100 arcade games, 14 bowling lanes, the Freaky Tiki Bar and private event spaces for groups of more than 80 people.

The investment adds another year-round entertainment option for both residents and visitors while expanding the range of experiences available in the Myrtle Beach area.

“We’re excited to officially celebrate Downtown Flavortown Myrtle Beach with the Grand Strand community,” said Bucky Mabe, CEO of FACE Amusement Group. “The response since opening has been tremendous, and this ribbon cutting is an opportunity to recognize everyone who helped bring this incredible destination to life.”

A New Place to Gather

At the center of Downtown Flavortown is Fieri’s full-service restaurant, featuring signature dishes including Trash Can Nachos and the Bacon Mac ’N’ Cheeseburger, along with scratch-made dishes, craft cocktails, beer and specialty drinks.

Beyond the restaurant, the venue is designed to serve a wide range of occasions, from family outings and date nights to birthday celebrations, corporate events and private parties.

The Myrtle Beach attraction is the second Downtown Flavortown location in the country, following the original in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

“Myrtle Beach … it’s time to make it official!” Fieri said. “Downtown Flavortown is all about bringing people together with killer food, real deal drinks and nonstop fun.”

Ceremony Details

The public ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Downtown Flavortown Myrtle Beach, 10177 N. Kings Highway at Myrtle Beach Mall.

Following the outdoor ceremony, the venue will host a private event for local first responders, contest winners and other invited guests. Access inside the venue during that event will be by invitation only.

Downtown Flavortown will reopen for normal business on Friday, Sept. 11.

The celebration marks another milestone for FACE Amusement Group and another addition to the Grand Strand’s growing mix of year-round dining, entertainment and group experiences.
